Florida sunshine is a welcome change.
However...
I miss crunching colorful autumn leaves!

Enjoy your Saturday, too, Gillena.
DeleteHi Ruth ~~ Do any of the Florida leaves fall? About half the trees here in the South Texas Gulf area will lose their leaves in very late November or else December. The others like the pin oaks and evergreen trees are green all winter long.

This being my first autumn here, Jim, I am not quite sure, I am surrounded by the oaks and tall pines, and palms, naturally. I guess I am just missing those monstrous old maple tree leaves from Ohio at the moment. They filled my yard but they were beautiful!
DeleteI'm really missing one of my best friends, who recently moved to Clearwater. She says she misses our VT foliage (now "gone by"). Not as much as I miss her, I'll bet.
ReplyDeleteYou missing your friend who moved away sounds like a few of my friends from the north who miss me! Be sure to tell her, as it does a heart good to know we are missed!
DeleteI'd settle for a little Florida sunshine, Ruthi, but then, it has been a lovely bright day here. A little "fresh" though :)
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome to come on down anytime Old Man Winter bothers you!
