Yes, the economy has had an impact on dog rescue organizations, too. Here are a couple of places that we donate to on a regular basis and highly recommend you do the same:

The Buckhawk Center Animal Rescue

San Luis Valley Animal Welfare Society

You can also read more about the Buckhawk and SLVAWS on Squidoo, as both are official members of the Squidoo Charity Program that enables writers to set their articles to automatically donate all or a portion of their earnings to their favorite charities.

My girl got her own postcards!

Since I am a postcard collector I design my own Sunshine and Poetry Postcards to send to friends and family. Tidbit left a few canine pals behind when we moved from Ohio to Florida this Spring, so she now has a postcard to send to her doggie friends.
