Due to my brother's death, (cancer took its toll on May 19th), I've been in hibernation for awhile, and so has my writing and creativity. Today, I finally feel like workin' my way back into the light.
Pansy, also known as Heartsease or Viola Tricolor ... poetry and design combined ... also available for purchase as a greeting card, individually or in a 10 pak, at my shop ... CafePress abitosunshine!
I enjoyed you blog! So sorry for the loss of your brother Hopefully, you'll get a lot out of mine. God Bless, Bob West http://westbob.blogspot.com/2010/05/god-vs-science.html
Thank you Sheila! Unfortunately, I had the occasion this past week to send that card to the family of a dear friend who passed away, too... what a horrid disease cancer is!
I am sorry for the loss of your brother. Once again you have taken a sad moment and used it to create something beautiful. I think cards will do well in your shop.
So sorry to hear of your brother. I have lost too many family members to that awful disease myself. Sometimes our pain can be our motivator when it comes to our creativity. Best of luck to you and time heals the wound but never steals the memory.
Ruthi, I thought I commented on this but guess it must have been on Gather. I love the poem and again, I'm sorry to hear about your brother. Nice tribute to him.
