Ground Hoggin' in 2010

Now, some may think Punxsutawney Phil the Groundhog Day king. However, I prefer Buckeye Chuck, who reigns here in my home state of Ohio. Early this morning, Buckeye Chuck rolled up out of his hole in the ground, his shadow nowhere around. Buckeye Chuck's prediction -- early spring for 2010!

This gal is Buckeye born 'n' bred, so she's quite happy about Buckeye Chuck's prediction for an early spring!

I am amazed by the outpouring of compassion and concern for those devastated by the earthquake in Haiti. And I applaud all those at Gather.com for doing whatever they can to assist in sending aid, warm thoughts, and prayer.
